Moving Beyond Temporary Pain Relief
Advanced Non-Operative Treatment Options:
Class IV Laser Therapy
Class IV laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment option used for selected painful musculoskeletal and soft-tissue conditions. Concentrated light energy is directed toward targeted tissues and may be incorporated into a broader treatment plan to help manage pain and support the body’s healing response.
Treatment is performed in the office and is customized according to the diagnosis and clinical findings.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy uses acoustic energy directed toward specific areas of tissue. It may be considered for certain chronic tendon and soft-tissue conditions, particularly when symptoms have not responded adequately to more conventional approaches.
The goal is not simply to treat where it hurts, but to address the underlying tissue problem when this therapy is clinically appropriate.
Regenerative Amniotic Injections
For carefully selected patients, amniotic-derived injections may be considered as part of an individualized treatment strategy. These therapies are intended to support the body’s natural healing environment for certain orthopedic and soft-tissue conditions.
Because these treatments are not appropriate for every diagnosis, recommendations are based on your medical history, examination, condition, and treatment goals.
Custom Orthotics
Sometimes the source of pain isn’t the painful area itself—it is the mechanical stress being placed on it.
Custom orthotics can help address abnormal alignment, pressure distribution, and foot mechanics that may contribute to repetitive stress on joints, tendons, ligaments, and other structures.
A Comprehensive Approach to Recovery
Advanced technology is most valuable when it is used thoughtfully.
Depending on your condition, treatment may combine advanced therapies with activity modification, rehabilitation, stretching, strengthening, footwear recommendations, or custom orthotics.
Our goal is to address the complete picture:
Cause → Pain → Tissue → Mechanics → Function
You don’t have to simply accept persistent foot and ankle pain as part of everyday life. A comprehensive evaluation can help determine why your symptoms are occurring and which treatment options may be appropriate.
At Heart & Sole Foot and Ankle, we don’t just ask, “Where does it hurt?”
We ask:
“Why does it hurt—and what can we do about it?”
